PhD Candidate

Megan Ochalek

Megan received her Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where she did research in modular soft robotics and discretely assemblable architectural designs. She is part of the Pathways program at NASA Ames Research Center, where she has done research with the Coded Structures Lab for the past five summers working on the Automated Reconfigurable Mission Adaptive Digital Assembly System (ARMADAS) project. She likes to spend her time either outdoors backpacking, trail running, climbing, and skiing, or talking about the next time she will do any of the above. She also enjoys art, traveling, and taking care of her many, many plant babies.
